North American Reciprocal Museums
The Clark County Historical Museum would like to share some very exciting news!
As of November 2012, the museum now belongs to the North American Reciprocal Museums (NARM) program which is an association of (as of June 2013) 668 arts and cultural institutions in the United States, Bermuda, Canada, El Salvador, and Mexico which offers select benefits of membership to each others’ qualifying members. This means that all future CCHM members at the $100 Associate level and above will be given a new membership card bearing the gold NARM sticker entitling them to all of the benefits accorded members of that museum or institution including free admission and event discounts! It’s like being a member of all 600 museums at once! Here is the NARM list of participating museums and other institutions. Consult this list before traveling to see where you can receive these great benefits!
Become an Associate-level Member
To take advantage of this stupendous offer and purchase an Associate level membership for yourself or as a gift, click here to fill out our online membership form! (For a printable, paper version, click here.) If you currently have a Student, Individual, or Family-level membership, you can upgrade by sending in the balance (for example, if you have a current Individual-level membership, you would send in $60 to upgrade to Associate-level membership) and making a note that you are upgrading to Associate-level membership.
Some exceptions to member benefits apply, such as in cases where the museum you are visiting is within 50 miles of the museum through which you have membership. Check the list above for complete details.
You can also click here to view all participating institutions in Google Maps!
Using the reciprocal [membership benefits] we saved upwards of $70 dollars in March between The Phillips in Washington DC, The Fricke and MOMA in New York. Felt like a VIP!
