Andy the Library Explorer

Meet Andy!

Dear visitor, please meet Andy the Library Explorer. Andy loves to travel to Carnegie Libraries (and other places, too!) and learn new things!

Andy hasn’t been out travelling in a while, though, and he’s getting a little lonely. Want to cheer him up? Take Andy on your own travels this year! Just print out the cut-out of Andy below. You can also read about Andy’s past adventures in his storybook.

You can download Mr. Carnegie’s Andy Storybook and the Andy the Library Explorer cutout here.

Andy’s Photo Scrapbook

As you travel to heritage sites around Washington or to other vacation destinations this year, snap a picture of Andy and send it to us. We’ll post it here in Andy’s Scrapbook so others can enjoy your adventures, too! Here are a couple of examples of what you can do with Andy on your travels. Have a great trip!
