The Presby Mansion and Museum This unique Museum is a tableau of Victorian living operated by the Klickitat County Historical Society, artifacts from the 1880s to 1930s are arranged in a home-like setting. Open seasonally, April 15 – October 15.127 West Broadway, Goldendale

Historic Loops Road Overlook
Pull off Highway 97 in Goldendale into overlook parking to view the first asphalt-paved road in the Northwest. The signature twists and turns of the Historic Loops Road are striking to see. www.maryhillmuseum.org/loops.html

Celilo Falls Overlook Just east of Wishram, you’ll find an overlook to the quiet Columbia River on Highway 14. Beneath the surface of the peaceful-looking river lie the remains of Celilo Falls, whose thunder could be heard for miles in any direction. The rich salmon fishing at the foot of the falls made Celilo a center of trade and commerce in the Northwest for most of the last 10,000 years.

Hood River's Carnegie Library On your way through the Gorge, stop by this beautiful 1914 Carnegie building. Still in operation as a library, this building underwent a renovation and expansion in 2003. www.hoodriver.plinkit.org/
